some new ben folds news. these eps sound pretty cool. i'd like to hear his take on "in between days", and i hope one of the later releases includes his take on liz phair's "chopsticks", which is just hilarious.

speaking of liz phair, has anyone in the history of music made such a stir by putting out a crappy single as she has? the new album has been unanimously slagged by the critics and every interviewer seems to demand an answer as to why she's decided to become the 35 year old avril lavigne. this has all apparently been a bit too much for her, as she's lashed out at a poor review in the new york times by likening the journalist to chicken little. you can be a star, liz, just don't put out sucky songs!
