Boo! Mine is still alive and well and I've had it for god knows how long. Everywhere I go I get, "That is the biggest iPod I've ever seen, is it first generation?" ... Meanwhile it's a 60GB iPod photo.
But yeah, it does suck ... Although on the brightside now you'll get a brand-spanking new one ... are you going to go with 30 or 80 GB? Black or white?

I screwed up my blog by switching to Beta.
I gots myself a mortgage! I can't just go to no store and buy a new iPod!
As a last resort in my efforts to bring my iPod back to life, I hurled my iPod towards the floor last night, and now it's working. Hopefully for another two years, at least, until Apple puts out an 80GB model that works completely off of flash memory, because it's really stupid to walk around with a hard drive all day.
